Fort Myers RSW adding new nonstop route to unserved area

It’s never too early to arrange a vacation to see the fall colors or fill a basket with fresh apples.

One place you can do this is New Hampshire, and getting there from Fort Myers will become easier starting in October, when the leaves begin to change color.

The Lee County Port Authority announced on Tuesday (Feb. 27) that Breeze Airways would launch new nonstop flights between Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT) this fall. RSW presently does not serve this market.

Beginning October 2, RSW-MHT flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, according to a recent article by Mark H Bickel of News Press.

What are they saying?
“We are very pleased to see that Breeze will add nonstop flights to Manchester, New Hampshire this fall, a popular market that is not currently served at Southwest Florida International Airport,” stated Ben Siegel, CPA, C.M., executive director of the Lee County Port Authority. “Breeze continues to expand and we are excited that RSW is part of that growth.”
