Tim Guerrette is ready to continue his service to our community as our next Collier County Supervisor of Elections.

After dedicating 35 years of service to his County and Country in the military and law enforcement, Tim Guerrette, former Chief of Operations at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, is now vying to serve his community as our next Collier County Supervisor of Elections. With a distinguished career in public service, Tim Guerrette brings a wealth of leadership experience, knowledge, and a commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and ethical electoral process for our county and beyond.

Tim conveys, “Now, more than ever, security in our electoral process has never been more important. Our voting citizens want to make sure their vote counts and fraud involving elections is eliminated. Having a trusted and ethical leader in the Supervisor of Elections Office is the single most critical component to ensuring SAFE | SECURE | ETHICAL elections for Collier County and beyond”.

Tim Guerrette’s journey of service began when he joined the United States Air Force in 1986, where he spent four years protecting and serving his country. In 1990, he transitioned into the field of law enforcement, embarking on a career that would see him rise through the ranks to become Chief of Operations at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

As Chief of Operations, Guerrette was responsible for overseeing a diverse workforce of over 700 employees. His duties included aiding in the recruitment of new agency members, providing training and career development opportunities, community engagement and ensuring the agency’s compliance with laws and regulations. His dedication to excellence and commitment to fostering a safe community earned him a reputation for exemplary service.

Throughout his tenure, Chief Guerrette managed various special units within the agency, such as the Patrol Division, Youth Relations, Gangs, SWAT, Aviation, K9, and Marine units.

His leadership was instrumental in managing budgets, developing and implementing policies and standard operating procedures, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of law enforcement operations.

Guerrette’s commitment to continued learning and professional development is evident in his academic achievements. He holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Business, and he earned a Master’s Degree in Administration. Moreover, he is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy #254, a testament to his dedication to staying at the forefront of law enforcement and security practices.

A long-standing resident of Collier County for 33 years, Guerrette is deeply ingrained in his community. He is a Big Brother for Big Brothers and Big Sisters and currently serves as a community board member, demonstrating his commitment to mentorship and community engagement. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Collier Class of 2008 and a past longtime board member of Youth Haven, an organization dedicated to providing a safe haven for traumatized, abused, neglected, and homeless children and teens.

Beyond his local involvement, Guerrette is an active member of various civic organizations, including the Collier County 100 Club, Naples Take a Soldier Fishing, Collier County Republican Executive Committee, Collier County Republican Men’s Club, Naples Republican Club, National Association of Chiefs of Police, FBI National Academy Associates, National Association of REALTORS®, and the Naples Area Board of Realtors (Safety and Professional Development Committees). Tim spends much extra time volunteering for many charities throughout the community.

Tim Guerrette’s leadership and extensive background in safety, security, problem-solving, and innovative solutions makes him the only qualified candidate to take on the important role of Collier County Supervisor of Elections. With his unwavering commitment to a “Safe | Secure | Ethical” electoral process, Guerrette aims to further enhance the integrity and transparency of elections within Collier County and beyond. His candidacy is rooted in a desire to serve the community and ensure that every citizen’s voice is heard and counted.
