Ohio Hospitality Brand opens first Florida upscale bar in Naples.

An elegant cocktail bar in Naples will be the first expansion of a Cincinnati hospitality company, which has several brands throughout its home state and Chicago.

Four Entertainment Group, or 4EG, is the bar’s owner, and its name is Beeline. It will open in Mercato, according to a statement from North American Properties – Atlanta, which manages and leases the high-end mixed-use development in Naples. The 4EG website lists two additional Beeline locations: one in Newport, Kentucky, which is outside of Cincinnati, and another in Columbus, Ohio.

According to the statement, Beeline will be located in a 4,000-square-foot building next to Southern Tide at 9115 Strada Place. Craft brews, spirits, and cocktails are on the menu, according to a recent article by Mark Gordon of Business Observer.

Throughout the Midwest, 4EG operates more than 25 pubs and restaurants, including Rosedale, The Roosevelt Room, Igby’s, aliveOne, and The Stretch. Four partners—Ben Klopp, Bob Deck, Dan Cronican, and David Halpern—founded the business in 2007.

In January 2020, the Easton Town Center in Columbus hosted the debut of the Beeline concept. According to the press statement, the organization launched a second Beeline in Newport on the Levee in Kentucky in September 2021. This development is also owned and run by NAPA.

“We are thrilled to bring Beeline to Naples and to become a part of the Mercato community,” says Deck in the release. “We’ve established a strong relationship with North American Properties with Beeline at Newport on the Levee, and we look forward to becoming a staple in the Naples nightlife.”

CORE Resources is the general contractor for the project while Mark Bredemeier of KBA Architects and interior designer Corey Rineair have been retained for Beeline’s buildout. The bar plans to open before the end of the year, with construction set to begin this summer.
