Naples “Pickleball Capital of the World” gets ready for the next US Pickleball Open
Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships April 13-20
What’s better than playing in the Pickleball Capital of the World? You haven’t experienced pickleball until you’ve been to the Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships at the Naples Pickleball Center, located inside the East Naples Community Park.
Pickleball Magazine describes the Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships as the “Tourney for the People.” And the numbers don’t lie. People from all 50 states, including American Samoa, and 29 countries worldwide come to The OPEN. Over 3,000 players aged 8 to 88 competed in The OPEN in 2023, while 40,000 people watched, partied, and celebrated the sport. Why do people love The OPEN so much? Because it’s the most prestigious tournament in the sport and The Biggest Pickleball Party in the World®. This unique combination of competition and camaraderie cannot be found at any other pickleball event. And all the people know it. The East Naples Community Park will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind Pickleball experience, with 59 courts surrounding the eye-popping Zing Zang Championship Court.

Parking
Kiwanis will be parking cars again this year, and there will be a charge of $5.00 per car per day. All proceeds will go to their ‘Christmas in July’ program to give Collier County homeless or at-risk of being homeless students the basic necessities so they can focus on their schoolwork. Complimentary shuttle service is provided from the parking lots. Parking is limited, and you are encouraged to carpool or take a shuttle when available.
Naples Botanical Garden Guest Services
Once you arrive at East Naples Community Park, the Naples Botanical Garden Guest Services should be your first stop. Our friendly team will help you gather information about the event, find your way around the park, and learn more about the cool things to do in Naples.
What To Bring
The US OPEN Village will have bleachers around the grounds. However, you may still want to consider bringing your portable chair. You may bring in coolers, but glass bottles or alcohol are not allowed. At the US OPEN Expo, you may purchase food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks. Bring a hat or umbrella for personal shade. You might also consider buying a US OPEN souvenir hat. Most vendors accept credit cards and cash. There will not be an ATM on site.
Pets
Dogs are welcome at the park. Please keep your friend on their leash and always pick up after them. Pets are not allowed on the Zing Zang Championship Court.
