Naples’ Great Wolf Lodge opens soon.

The brand new Great Wolf Lodge is scheduled to debut on September 25. Inside, there are 13 water slides, bowling, an arcade, and a 1,000-gallon barrel that tips over every 5 minutes.

The indoor water park alone spans 92,000 square feet. That is the size of two football fields, according to a recent article by Dominga Murray of FOX4.

Jason Bays is the general manager.

“This is the 22nd Great Wolf Lodge. It’s our first in Florida, and we couldn’t be happier to open up our 500 family suites,” he said.

It is boosting the workforce in Collier County. He said the Great Wolf Lodge will have around 600 employees, including 100 lifeguards. They’re hard at work, with just over a month till opening day.

“We’re going to be putting in all of the equipment, think of all the chairs, trashcans, and all of the different things that make up the resort so people can come here and stay,” he stated.

There’s something for the entire family.

“We have several distinct tiki bars set up throughout. It’s a nice location to unwind, and the lazy river is also enjoyable for adults. We are debuting virtual reality. We have a zip line that goes across the entire adventure park,” Bays explained.
