Naples eateries support local causes and the economy at the same time.

This month, 55 Naples restaurants are offering a deal that enables you to enjoy top-notch dining without breaking the bank and supports charitable causes.

A three-course dinner is available at the Sizzle Dining event for a set fee of $39, according to Bella Line of Fox 4.

Every purchase makes a $1 donation to Blessings in a Backpack, which feeds hungry children in the community. Collier County is providing an opportunity to boost the region’s tourism industry, particularly during the slower summer months.

Naples is filling the void for kids in need of supplies and providing a second chance for companies to prosper.

The general manager of the Sea Salt restaurant, Tanya Buchanan, stated, “It not only raises awareness about Blessings in a Backpack, but it helps us in these slow times in the summer months, which is considered our off season.”

Every restaurant Fox 4 spoke with in Naples on Thursday reported that they had already noticed a shift. One such establishment is Seventh South Craft Food and Drink, where Barry Larkin, the owner, works every day.

“A large number of individuals enter, and they are enthusiastic about Sizzle. They are sampling food from a variety of eateries that they had never been to before. Through their advertising, it also exposes us,” Larkin remarked.

Some claim they have seen a decline in business from previous years since Ian struck at the start of the busiest travel season.

This year’s business has, in my opinion, slowed down a little bit. Because it’s hurricane season, I believe that people are a little hesitant to travel to Florida,” says Ray Corallino, general manager of The 239 Naples.

These eateries are now making the most of this week to showcase their offerings to the general public.
