Whether you’re looking for your next lunch spot or wondering what’s gone dark on Fifth, here’s your roundup of notable openings and closures across Naples.


🚪 Recently Closed in Naples

  • 21 Spices by Chef Asif
    After more than nine years, this beloved contemporary Indian restaurant officially closed on March 31. Known for its creative takes on traditional cuisine, it leaves a flavorful legacy in East Naples.
  • Lamoraga
    This upscale tapas restaurant on Tamiami Trail wrapped up operations on April 5 after 11 years. Opened by former NFL player Tom Nutten, Lamoraga was known for its fusion of Mediterranean and Spanish influences.
  • The Social Restaurant & Taproom
    Located in the Naples Hotel, The Social closed between March 20–23. The popular hangout has since transitioned its live music scene and staff over to Lock Stock Bar & Grill.
  • Bambusa Bar & Grill
    After nearly two decades, Bambusa closed on February 25. In its place, Old Town Saloon is set to debut in May, bringing a new vibe to the long-standing location.
  • KFC (3906 N Tamiami Trail)
    This KFC location has closed, with no official word yet on what might replace it.
  • Century Arms of Naples
    The gun shop at 347 Airport Pulling Road N has permanently closed as of April.

  • Kelly’s Roast Beef – Gateway Shoppes
    This Boston favorite officially launched its Naples location on March 19, bringing New England’s iconic roast beef sandwiches and seafood staples to Tamiami Trail North. The location offers dine-in, drive-thru, and carryout.
  • D’Peru (1233 Airport-Pulling Rd S)
    Opening March 31, D’Peru is a new fast-casual concept serving up 24-hour marinated charcoal-roasted chicken, ceviche, and other Peruvian specialties in a cozy counter-service setting.
  • Two Meatballs in the Kitchen (Coming Soon)
    Replacing The Warehouse in East Naples, Two Meatballs in the Kitchen is expanding from Fort Myers into the Naples market. Known for large portions and classic Italian-American comfort food, the restaurant will breathe new life into the space.
