Naples rents have decreased, according to recent data.

Finding an apartment can be difficult, particularly if money is tight. However, recent data indicates that rent in Florida is actually declining.

Fresh state data from a January 2024 rent report is displayed in a Rent.com analysis.

How is the rent in Florida changing?
Despite a 23% increase in rent since the outbreak, southern median rents have dropped for the fourth straight month.

The typical rent in Florida is $2,095, down 9.21% from the previous year. We are the state where rent has decreased the most, with Idaho and Oregon following closely behind.

The state has changed by 1.14% month over month, according to a recent article by Kendall Little of Naples Daily News.

Mississippi, on the other hand, has had the largest year-over-year increase in rent, rising by 14.67%. New Hampshire and Michigan are next, with increases of 12.81% and 12.47%, respectively.

What’s the rent like in Naples?
According to Rent.com, the average rent in Naples for a one-bedroom apartment is currently $1,922, and for a two-bedroom apartment, it is $2,508.

Surprisingly, such rates have dropped over time.

According to data from Rent.com, the average rent in Naples for a one-bedroom apartment has dropped by 14%, while the average rent for a two-bedroom apartment has declined by 11%.

While rent in Central Naples has climbed by 2% and in East Naples by 7% annually, rent in Rural Estates has reduced by 18%.

The yearly rent in neighboring towns such as Fort Myers and Bonita Springs has also decreased, with Fort Myers experiencing a loss of -4% and Bonita Springs experiencing a decrease of -52 percent. Cape Coral has increased rental rates by a quarter.
