Man is saved by the U.S. Coast Guard off the shore of Marco Island.
Off the coast of Marco Island, the U.S. Coast Guard engaged in the rescue of a man whose boat experienced mechanical issues.
The U.S. Coast Guard claims that because the motor and sail were broken, they were able to save the man and tow his 30-foot yacht ashore, according to a recent article by Rebecca Weis of Fox 4.
No one was wounded, according to the U.S. Coast Guard, but it nevertheless advises locals to constantly check their boats before heading out to sea.
They advise having a backup plan at all times and being ready for anything.
