Lightning injures two near Naples Pier
As storms rolled across the Naples area Saturday night, a lightning strike injured two people.
Naples police say they received a rescue call just after 6 p.m. for two people who were swimming in the gulf near Naples Pier when the strike occurred. Both individuals were transferred to a nearby hospital.
In an abundance of caution, Naples police shuttered the Naples Pier for the remainder of Saturday evening, according to a recent article by Andrew Shipley of FOX4
