22 SWFL privately held companies made Inc.’s list of the top 5,000.
Twenty-two privately held businesses in Southwest Florida were listed in Inc.’s top 5,000 for 2023. Leading the local businesses on the esteemed list is Alliance Global Advisors, based in Naples, which came in at number 228 with a three-year growth rate of 2,449%.
Alliance Global Advisors is a women-owned consulting company that focuses on “developing strategic growth solutions for real asset investment managers.” Heather Fernstrom Border, a native of Naples, serves as managing partner and co-founder. Jennifer Stevens is a managing partner and co-founder who divides her time between Ohio and Naples, according to a recent article by J. Kyle Foster of Naples Daily News.
For the seventh year running, My Shower Door in Fort Myers made the list, ranking 4,760 this time. Its D3 Glass plant in Fort Myers made the list for the first time, at 3,428.

Four newly established businesses and twelve returning awardees from Southwest Florida made the list of the nation’s fastest-growing private corporations this year. When taken as a whole, they generated 936 new jobs and had a median increase of 199%, as opposed to the list’s overall median growth of 219%. According to Inc.com, the 5,000 businesses as a whole generated $358 billion in revenue in 2022 and had 1.19 million employees.
Established in 2003, My Shower Door was last seen on the list in 2021, rising to #4,456 with a 61% three-year gain. The business, which creates and installs personalized, frameless shower enclosures and doors, grew by 83% in just three years. Established in 2012, D3 Glass is an expert in glass production, tempering, and lamination. Three years later, its growth rate was 146%.
According to a news release, President and Founder of MY Shower Door Bill Daubmann stated, “It’s extremely difficult just to earn a spot on the Inc. 5000 list, but even harder to stay on it because you need to sustain elevated growth over a longer period of time.” Customers have many options in the cutthroat industry of today. We take pride in the fact that Florida builders and homeowners use My Shower Door year after year.
The list included Pathformance and further Naples businesses.
Pathformance (1,437 on the list), Chomps (2,802), Earth View (3,063), Capital Wealth Advisors (4,261), and Family First Legal Group (4,776) are some of the other Naples businesses that make the cut.
