Drones in Paradise: Independence Day Celebration
July is National Parks & Recreation Month, a time to highlight the importance of parks and recreation in enhancing communities and promoting healthy, active lifestyles. This July, Collier County Parks & Recreation will celebrate with the theme: Where You Belong!
Parks are at the center of endless happy experiences and memories. Staff at the Collier County Parks & Recreation Division are leading initiatives and providing opportunities for people of all ages to achieve healthier lifestyles, understand better and appreciate nature/conservation, and come together as a community through a variety of outdoor programming and events. These events and activities offer opportunities for people of all ages and interests to connect with nature, explore outdoor recreation opportunities, and celebrate the value of parks and recreation during National Parks & Recreation Month.
Collier County Parks and Recreation kicks off Parks and Recreation Month at the Drones in Paradise Independence Day Celebration at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m., which include live entertainment, live art, activities on the Great Lawn, and food trucks. Stop by the Parks & Recreation Booth and get a special prize to celebrate Parks & Recreation Month. The Drone Light Show will begin at 9:00 p.m. Paradise Coast Sports Complex is located at 3940 City Gate Boulevard N., Naples, FL.
