It’s important to note that Florida is a closed primary state, which means that only voters who are registered members of a political party may vote for their respective party’s candidates in a primary election. The Primary Election in Florida is scheduled for August 20, 2024.

For all elections, the voter registration deadline is typically 29 days before the election day. This applies to new registrations as well as updates to existing registrations, such as changes in party affiliation.

Registered voters who need to make updates to their name and/or address are not affected by the voter registration deadline, but are encouraged to make these updates prior to Election Day to avoid any delays at the polls.

Voters can register to vote or update their information online at www.CollierVotes.gov, or in person at one of the Supervisor of Elections office locations. The main office is located at 3750 Enterprise Avenue, Naples FL 34104, with office hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There are also satellite offices available with different operating hours.
