Ave Maria will have a Sunshine Ace Hardware store.

In the quickly expanding neighborhood of Ave Maria, Sunshine Ace Hardware has announced plans to open the city’s first full-service hardware store.

In 2024, the project will be finished. Sunshine Ace celebrated the grand opening of their 12th store in Founders Square in North Naples barely one month prior to the announcement.

Sunshine Ace Hardware President Michael Wynn said, “For 65 years, Sunshine Ace Hardware has grown alongside the community, and as the population advances further inland from the shore, we will proudly join them. When you need paint, grilling equipment, or a home repair item, Sunshine Ace Hardware is your best bet if you own a house around Ave Maria or run a business there.

Comprehensive paint and grilling sections, a large assortment of power and hand tools, hardware, lawn and garden supplies, plumbing fixtures, gas, and DIY materials are all features of the Ave Maria store.

Currently, the neighborhood has little over 4,000 residences and over 11,000 people live there. The neighborhood has experienced rapid growth and now ranks among the top 20 master-planned communities in the country. Ave Maria reported 586 sales of brand-new homes in 2022, ranking the community first among all planned communities in Collier County. The town would span 4,000 acres and have up to 11,000 dwellings as well as 1.8 million square feet of retail, office, and business park uses when it is fully developed.

Near the Exxon Station and less than a mile from the Town Center, at 5360 Ave Maria Blvd, Unit 110, the new store will be situated.

With the addition of the new facility, Sunshine Ace will have 15 properties in its portfolio, including 10 Sunshine Ace Hardware stores spread across Collier, Lee, Charlotte, and Pinellas counties.

Additionally, Sunshine Ace has launched Ace Handyman Services of Southwest Florida throughout the region, now providing services in Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, and Fort Myers. Popular services include drywall and general carpentry work, painting, upgrading cabinets, installing wall TVs and ceiling fans, fixing lanai screens, and other home maintenance tasks.
