Artis-Naples has announced its entire 2023-24 visual and performing arts season lineup.
Artis-Naples released a complete schedule for the next 2023–2024 season this month, according to a recent article by John Davis of WGCU.
The overarching subject of this year’s offerings in the visual and performing arts is “Artistic Senses – See, Hear, Taste,” and it aims to cross the barriers between artistic disciplines in a way that appeals to the senses on several levels.
The extensive season includes visual art exhibitions at the Baker Museum, the 15th annual Naples International Film Festival, masterworks, pops, jazz, chamber music, and a Broadway series. Blake Pouliot, a violinist, Jess Gillam, a saxophonist, Megan Hilty, a singer, and David Sedaris, among others, will be among the guest performers.
Alexander Shelley will be serving as Designate Artistic and Music Director for the first time during this current season.
George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” will celebrate its 100th anniversary in February 2024, and performances of his music will be widely featured throughout the season and in various forms of art.
Artis-Naples CEO and President Kathleen van Bergen will give us an overview of the next season.
