Naples, Florida’s Harmony At Santa Barbara Will Have 82 Units at 4660 Santa Barbara Boulevard.

Ekos Magnolia Oaks, a workforce housing development planned for Tallahassee, Florida, was the subject of yesterday’s Florida YIMBY report. Now, we’re thrilled to report on another McDowell project: the 82-unit complex known as The Harmony on Santa Barbara.

People earning between 30 and 80 percent of the area median income (AMI) will be able to purchase a house in the multifamily development, according to a recent article by YIMBY The developer will set aside at least 10% of the apartments for senior citizens, veterans, and those with special needs.

According to McDowell, the Class A, luxurious residences are designed to encourage independent living. There are one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. They will be split between two concrete structures that are three stories tall and sit on a 3.78-acre plot of land.

Previously owned by the Collier County School District, the site is currently owned by the county, which is collaborating with McDowell on the project. A few examples of available residential amenities include a business center, pool deck, playgrounds, and outdoor BBQs.

Construction on the multi-million dollar neighborhood began in 2022, and it will soon be finished. The community was designed by FK Architecture. Two low-rise L-shaped buildings with a combined area of 48,000 square feet are seen in conceptual renderings.
