FAMILY FRIENDLY: BUGS, BIRDS, & BUTTERFLIES FAMILY DAY

Inviting all entomologists and ornithologists! Join Collier Museum at Government Center to explore the fascinating creatures that make a home in your backyard. What’s the buzz about bees and why they’re so important to our earth? Which flowers attract butterflies? You’ll learn the answers and get the opportunity to plant a mini garden! Make a bug house to attract good bugs to your yard! Plus learn how to distinguish bird calls and discover which of these dinosaur descendants you can identify in your backyard trees.
All ages welcome, but best for ages 5-12.
Drop in from 10 am to 1 pm.
